Signing of MoU with Siemens Ltd and GIZ
Happy to announce that today we have virtually signed a Tripartite MoU with Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Siemens Ltd and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to carry out world-class German Dual VET (Vocational Education & Training) in Government ITIs.
The Project will be based on the German Dual VET model which will be implemented in the existing framework of the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) in all 10 Government ITIs. Through this initiative, we will ensure optimal Up-skilling of the ITI graduates including green skilling at par with the latest technological developments in the industry thereby remarkably enhancing the employability of graduates from these ITIs.
A short gist of our initiative that will address the pressing need of training and enabling India's youth for employment, entrepreneurship and community enterprise by deploying world-class German Dual VET (Vocational Education & Training) methodology under “IGnITE – Indo-German Initiative for Technical Education” in Govt ITIs.
